About NumBlocksGen

NumBlocksGen is an independent browser games site focused on math, puzzle, logic, and early-learning games that can be played without an app install. The goal is simple: make it easier for players, parents, and teachers to find small games with clear controls, source credits, and practical guidance before they press Play.

Many games on the site began as public Scratch projects and are credited on their play pages with links to the original creators. We add our own notes about what each game is good for, how to approach it, what to watch for, and which players are likely to benefit from it. That editorial layer is the value of the site, not just the embedded game frame.

How games are selected

We look for games with understandable rules, short loading paths, playable browser frames, and a clear educational or reasoning angle. A game does not need to be complex to be useful; for a preschool counting game, a simple prompt can be the right design. For a logic game, the value may come from a compact board that rewards planning.

Independent and source-aware

NumBlocksGen is not affiliated with Scratch, MIT, Numberblocks, Blocks Universe, or any game creator whose work is credited here. We avoid presenting sourced projects as our own original games, and we avoid using official characters or logos as site branding. When a project has important source notes, such as control limits or recommended play conditions, we reflect those notes in the page guide.

What we improve on each page

Each play page is written to answer a player question: What is this game, who is it for, how do I start, and what should I pay attention to? The category pages help visitors choose between similar games instead of forcing them to click every card blindly. This is especially important for young learners, where the best game is often the one that matches a specific skill rather than the flashiest screen.
